What’s the process?

One of the most common questions I get is, so what’s the process of setting up my website?
Well here’s the thing, with a lot of website developers, the process can be time consuming and painful.

With Financial Tech Tools, not so much, you save time because you’re dealing with financial services industry experts first. We understand the industry since we’ve been in for over 15 years. You don’t have to explain to us what life insurance is or what an RRSP or TFSA does. You don’t need to tell us what IFA or IRP stand for because we get it.

On average we can save an advisor 40 hours’ worth of time just by putting the content together

(and this doesn’t include the time for the advisor to go back and forth with a website developer that knows nothing about our industry).

INTAKE (1ST ONLINE MEETING)

Our initial online meeting is all about you and your business; who you’re currently working with and who your ideal client is, the solutions you provide, your value proposition and your business goals. During this meeting, we will review website designs and determine the style that suits your business best

Time: 45 to 60 minutes

WEBSITE FRAMEWORK UP (2ND MEETING)

We have the framework of the website up, we walk through the website together to garner your feedback and we make changes based off your feedback. This is important so we can make sure we deliver a website that you love and that you feel is reflective of your practice. We will also provide you with a temporary website address so you can review the site after our call.

Time: 15 to 30 minutes

CONTENT MARKETING PLAN & FINAL REVIEW (3RD MEETING)

In our third meeting, the changes have been made, we do a final review of the website and get the website ready to launch. We also review the content marketing plan created one year in advance where we discuss updating the website on a monthly basis to help you achieve your business goals.

Time: 15 to 30 minutes

IF YOU NEED COMPLIANCE

We will get the website ready for compliance review- depending on your compliance department, they may require the website in different formats- we will provide this to them and take care of this for you.

Time: Depending on your compliance department, approval times will vary.

WEBSITE LAUNCH

Before we launch the website, we have a long checklist including testing out forms, checking for broken links, installing analytics and creating an initial backup of your website etc. Once the website is launched, we will submit your website to Google for indexing and will also send you an email confirming that the website has launched.  In this email, you will receive an email announcement and social media post that you can share with your prospects and clients.

Are you ready to get started?
